InformationUnhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others. spent a really fun afternoon bringing sushi for a swim at this pet mart at pasir ris with a 10m swimming pool just for dogs to swim in.. my sis actually signed up as a member with this pet mart some time ago, which allows her discount when she buys pet food and accessories.. together with that, it also allows her to bring sushi to the in-house swimming pool.. today was the second time that sushi went into the water.. the first was rather not a very good experience for sushi as she was bullied by a jack russell..=p this time, she was also furiously 'trapping water' when we put her in initially.. but after an hr and a half of cajoling and training, she finally learnt how to swim! not bad right.. heh.. but ok, dogs should be natural swimmers.. ;p
looks like we will be bringing sushi to swim more often in the future.. ;)
 anyone not enjoying herself..? heh..

the past weekend has been a whirlwind, again.. ;p
we went to 3 bridal studios with jacinth.. it was really nice of her to lend us some of her precious time in singapore as she is gg back to australia soon.. it was the 1st time we do a walk-in into the bridal studios, having previously only seen the bridal fair at taka.. each BS has its own strengths and weaknesses and we had a difficult decision to make.. we shall just commit all to Him..
met up with rest of junkie gang, tee kong, kuan ling and cleve, on sun! KL is back from austria on a business trip and really glad that we were able to meet up.. a good catching up session and we might want to visit her for our honeymoon.. to austria, switzerland and maybe manchester... heh.. although the 3rd place is a bit far off.. =p we have to do our accounts though as it would cost at least S$8000 for both of us to travel.. *faint*
sent off sam to shanghai / suzhou last night at the airport.. he will be gg to suzhou for his industrial attachment.. reminds me of my experience when i went to shanghai for my attachment.. time really flies.. i am sure sam will be able to benefit a lot from the 6 months, just like myself.. =) i also feel like visiting him in china.. love the food and inexpensive stuff there.. heh.. but again, have to work our the finances since this year will spend exceptionally much.. we shall see when the time comes.. =)
will be having quite an important meet-up with my future boss this coming fri.. that will be my key prayer request for the week.. have a blessed week ahead everyone!

hiding behind those screens
was driving home along the PIE and there was a jam, as usual.. i was thinking to myself how bad some singaporean drivers' habits were..
let me highlight one of them: the more you signal to filter to the next lane, the faster the vehicles in the next lane travels.. thus, there was this saying that if you want to filter, you should signal at the very last minute, so that those cars would not have a chance to speed up.. how pathetic is that!!
is singapore a very courteous and polite nation? think again, are singapore drivers really polite drivers..?
hope that all of us will display a good attitude while driving and not imitate those who just hide behind the tinted windscreen and just let off those gas and horn, unnecessarily.. ;p

It's no longer in construction.. heh..
BLESSED 2007 TO EVERYONE!!!
after taking a long long break from blogging, i hope that 2007 will be a good start to a time of sharing and keeping in touch with all my frens who reads my blog last time.. i wonder who will still come to my blog anymore.. however, we shall see.. =) feel free to leave me any comments..
this new year break is filled with movies and stayovers.. watched the bone collector (very intriguing, you will love it if you are a csi fan.. heh..), seven swords (very violent, full of chopping off of heads, legs, hands,... ok, i shall not spoil your dinner..) and hard candy (very engaging, all of us at sam's house loooove and haaate it because of the plot and the tense atmosphere it generates.. =p)..
went to the hong kong cafe at east coast rd too.. a wonderful recommendation by ronald that serves very good hong kong goodies and polo bun.. heh.. just take a look at all the drooling faces when the polo buns are served..
notice the polo buns on the table..
can't wait to tuck in.. heh..
wat a way to start off 2007.. (notice the fingers.. heh)
